I spoke with Kim Burow here in Toowoomba, Australia the other day, about her not-for-profit organization, Yellow Bridge, for our first podcast for the Executive Healthcare Podcast.
We spoke about “Connecting Disability Services To Brighter Futures” here in Toowoomba, and in Australia.
How do we drive more value, not just reduce costs of service delivery in the healthcare service sector, but drive more tangible value to the lives that need it most?
As Kim discussed Yellow Bridge working is now a part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), in Toowoomba, a government enterprise that provides more purposeful funding.
Funding to not only help the disabled, homeless, at-risk youth, or our aging population, and anyone who needs assistance, but to actually help them live more purposeful and fulfilling lives here in Australia.
Not-for-profit’s like YellowBridge working as part of the NDIS, Australia’s largest social reform since Medicare, represents the future of value-driven healthcare.
How do we improve the lives of those we serve within the healthcare services we provide?
Kim’s going to talk to us about how Yellowbridge is doing just that and a lot, lot, more today on our podcast on “Connecting Disability Services To Brighter Futures.”
